The Lovers, Two of Cups and Ten of Cups are usually read as signals of bond. Three of Swords speaks plainly about hurt. The Tower or the Devil showing up is not a bad omen — they point at a knot that needs looking at. Every card has its own page in the deck.
How to read it well
Read the upright meaning first, the reversed second, then fit it to your actual question. If a card makes you pause — that is usually the part worth reading closely, not the part worth fearing. Tarot gives you language to think with; the decision stays yours.
